START is a young, pre-launch project. This policy describes, plainly, what we collect today and what changes once the full platform — accounts, contributor dashboards, published briefs — goes live. We'll update this page whenever that changes.

What we collect today

Right now, START is a marketing site with sign-up and contact forms. When you submit one, we collect only what the form asks for:

• Your name and email address
• The role you're joining as (reader or contributor) and, for contributors, your field
• Institution or organisation, if you provide one
• The message or category you select on the contact form

These forms are processed by a third-party form handler (Formspree). We haven't built account storage or authentication yet — no passwords are stored by START at this stage. We also don't run any analytics or tracking scripts on this site.

How we use it

Solely to reply to you, to track interest ahead of launch, and to reach out about contributor verification or institutional access if you've asked for it. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with third parties for marketing.

When the platform launches

Once accounts, briefs, and contributor tools are live, this policy will expand to cover account data, verification records, and security practices in detail — and we'll post the update here before it takes effect.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time.
